Dreampictures21 is a leading digital contents company established in 2002. The TV animated series "LEXA" is an original animation of Dreampictures21 and has been broadcast on EBS (a network channel in Korea), i-TV, JEI-TV, Arirang TV. The broadcasting rights were sold to Golden Star Metro in Malaysia, Hawey-King Mal-ti Media in Taiwan and comic book publishing rights to China. Currently Dreampictures21 is negotiating the contract for the animation's broadcasting rights for North America and Europe.
Based on the success of LEXA, the company built its profit structure from expansion of its business line to other entertainment areas of edutainment (LEXALAND), online game (LEKLEKA), online blog website (www.aegaeg.com) and comic book.
The ultimate objective of Dreampictures21 is to be a leader of next generation on multimedia of animation, edutainment, character merchandizing, game and online biz in order to follow the main strategic stream of One Source, Multi Use on the basis of the very first 3D TV animated series LEXA.

- Animation
LEXA, Dreampictures21's first animation holds the highest program rating on EBS, which is over 15%. Dreampictures21 won four national awards in 2002 and 2003 and this animation is enjoying attention from countries around the world. Based on the success of LEXA, Dreampictures21 is producing the second series, LEXA Kingdom, which will be released in July 2004. Dreampictures21 is proud to announce that the well-known animation directors Mr. Sungwoo Lee, Mr. Yongnam Kwon and Mr. Seungkyun Baek have joined our animation production team as main directors of the LEXA Kingdom.
Both LEXA series consist of 26 episodes for kids aged 7-13 and its platform is TV.
- Edutainment
Dreampictures21 launched a neo-concept edutainment LEXALAND for kids of 4-6 years.
Textbook and educational materials contain various characters of TV animated series LEXA and
children of LEXALAND will have fun while learning English and Chinese characters as familiar animation characters guide their learning.
The main component of this edutainment is Edumom, who takes care of the children of working parents from 08:00am to 07:00pm, 5 days a week. This educational system is a combination of babysitting and education.
- Game
Under the brand slogan of 'Enjoy the animation in online game', Dreampictures21 is processing its online game project LEKLEKA, which is the original name of LEXA.
LEKLEKA is a first-person shooting game for the market of teens of over 15 years old and will be released on September, 2004. The game platform is internet and the main theme is the naval battle using warship in the style of medieval age.
- Online Biz
The newly conceptualized blog website AEG (Active Web Log-www.aegaeg.com) is currently developing in Dreampictures21, targeting the highly competitive market in Korea as well as the global market utilizing alliance with global portal sites. This website helps the user create more personal website. The user has more options to decorate a blog, which means more sales and the maximization of revenue. This neo-concept blog also features a stock market, avatars and community groups. This website will open on April and will be accessible by internet users all around the world. |
